What to expect from a first class.
- It's okay to arrive as a complete beginner. You don't need to memorise a routine first.
- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that feel stable and let you move safely. Check with the organiser about footwear or venue-specific guidance.
- Tell the instructor what you hope to learn, and let them know if a movement or partner hold is uncomfortable.
- Bring water, take breaks and ask questions. Learning at a comfortable pace is part of the process.
No partner required to begin learning the basics. Class formats and partner rotation practices vary, so ask the organiser what to expect.

The UK directory is separate from Yerri’s lessons. It brings together independent salsa class providers by town and links to their official pages; dates and availability should always be confirmed with the organiser.
